HR and Recruiting Contractor (Part-time, 4-months)
An HR and Recruiting Contractor is responsible for creating, updating, and applying all HR policies and company guidelines, ensuring they adhere to standards and laws initiated by authorities. This role also includes responsibilities in managing the entire recruiting lifecycle.
What YOU will do at Luma Health
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Improve the key lifecycle of all employees at Luma Health through various internal processes.
- HR Data Management: Maintain all HR systems with continual updates and processes
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage all onboarding and offboarding workflows for employees, including employment verification in Everify, background checks, I-9s, addition to our HRIS, and HR orientation.
- Recruiting Coordination and Activities: Act as the recruiting coordinator, assisting in the recruitment process, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
- Digital File Maintenance: Maintain all digital files for employees, including documents, benefits, and attendance records through our HRIS, HR folders, and company intranet.
- Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with outside vendors that are applied within the HR structure.
- Support Upper Management: Assist any upper management or employees with their specific requests.
- People Operations Projects: Assist the People Operations Manager with any projects, policies, or audits that apply within Luma Health.
Who You Are
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience as an HR Administrator and Recruiting Coordinator.
- Proven experience in HRIS and recruiting systems and analytics, data interpretation, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Must be able to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Outstanding follow-through skills with a strong sense of urgency.
- Start-up experience preferred.
- BA/BS preferred but not required; experience can be substituted.
