Position Title: Digital Test Lead, iCare
Position Overview:
The iCare Test Lead will be responsible for leading and managing the testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including agile teams, developers, business analysts to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products. The iCare Test Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying frameworks and standards that simplify manual, automated testing within iCare Eco System. The frameworks should aim to automate, simplify, and accelerate testing while adhering to quality standards. This role will leverage the Digital portfolio, catalog of services, existing platforms as well as integrate new industry standards to define and implement the Patient Services products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks iCare Ecosystem software products (iCare Connect - Salesforce Health Cloud, iCare Exchange - Informatica Cloud & AWS, iCare Events - Salesforce & Veeva CRM, iCare Marketing - Salesforce Marketing Cloud and iCare Insights - Snowflake & Informatica Cloud)
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Collaborate with testing and development teams to understand test automation requirements, design, and implementation details.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and propose automation strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test data to support automation efforts.
- Execute automated tests and analyze test results, reporting and tracking defects as necessary.
- Continuously enhance and improve existing automation frameworks to increase test coverage and reliability.
- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and tools related to test automation and incorporate them into the testing process as appropriate.
- Mentor and provide guidance to iCare Test Automation team members regarding test automation best practices and techniques.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the quality of automated test scripts.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of the software development process, including agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and quality assurance strategies.
- Work as part of the Agile Team.
- Responsible for ensuring the integrity and privacy of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (including Test Automation
- Experience with life sciences/pharma.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, automated testing tools, and best practices.
- Familiarity with different types of testing, such as functional, regression, performance, automation, and security testing.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
- Preferred experience with GxP, HIPAA and GDPR regulations.
