ABOUT THE JOB
SAP Reporting & Analytics CoE team needs to reinforce its expertise to support the RUN and BUILD of the new global finance data warehouse that becomes more and more used and critical, and to coordinate analytics part of core SAP rollout program. In addition to this role, the SAP Reporting & Analytics CoE team is responsible for the consistency of the legacy SAP BI platforms, acting as experts for the application or platform owners for all lifecycle event of those applications and platforms.
The SAP Reporting & Analytics Lead is accountable for manage the delivery of SAP BI services at the expected level of quality, delay, and costs, enable the BI strategy and participate to the formalization of this BI strategy.
You will manage in autonomy BI activities: projects, Vendor management, delivery, technical solutions.
ABOUT YOU
- Master project methodology (Agile methodology knowledge/certification is a plus)
- Has a strong knowledge of SAP analytics (10+ years’ experience)
- Is responsible for challenging vendor proposals
- Establishes a trusted and strong relationship with the Business and the Vendor
- Promotes and increases the use of innovative technologies
- Is the point of contact for Analytics topics in the context of core SAP deployment
- Manages internal and external Reporting and Analytics experts for delivering POC using SAP BI technologies
Duties & Responsibilities
1. General
- Assessing improvement opportunities and developing new opportunities to deliver more customer value
- Assesses customer needs and provides effective solutions through regular analysis of data and information reported from a broad variety of sources.
- Assesses progress made against projects, financial targets and policy implementations in order to reach individual or team goals
- Sensitive to the broader work environment and fosters relationships with partners, experts from other functions and customers in order to achieve tactical objectives
2. Delivery
- Responsible of the end-to-end delivery quality for all analytics execution
- Coordinates the delivery process and lead the consultants
- Defines solution architecture based on standard usages and end-user needs
- Manages escalations
3. Project management
- Coordination of all stakeholders
- Activity follows up
- Risk management (mitigation and solutioning)
4. Mastering BI landscape
- Define strategic BI landscape with architecture and basis team
- Define and implement the proper analytics solutions
- Monitoring critical components
- Coordinates usages of regulatory implementation (SOX or GxP)
5. Main interactions
- Business: requirements support and leverages the tools
- Basis team: ensures connectivity to all SAPs and help components setup
- SHIFT team: Coordinates SHIFT analytics rollout
- Vendor: manage project team and deliveries
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language
Describe hard and soft (behavioral) skills required for this position:
- Strong skills in SAP Analytics (SAP BW/4HANA, Webi, Lumira, Analysis for office and data services)
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics (CDS, Fiori etc.)
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules for Industrial processes and/or backoffice CO, FI, SD, MM, AP, AR
- Additional technical knowledge of non SAP Analytic solution (Snowflake, PowerBI) would be highly appreciated
- Ability to manage external team
- Excellent communication skills
- Language requirements: Professional English
- Experience in international projects
- Positive and proactive mindset
- Agile way of working
Qualifications
- Education level/degree/certification(s) required for this position = Master level /Engineer
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in similar position
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus
- 10+ experience SAP Analytics expertise
- Experience of regulated environments (GxP, SOX, GPDR)
