Our Team:
The lead of Regulatory Science, Policy and Intelligence is a Scientific Affairs leadership role, which will drive and manage some CHC Global Regulatory Affairs, Policy, and Intelligence related activities.
The lead will develop global and strategic positioning, to advance Regulatory Science to shape the regulatory policy & environment and policy positions.
It will also be accountable for advancing internal capabilities and intelligence such as CRISP, estabilishing a digital Reg Intel platform, managing the external vendor and leading internal engagement.
The Scientific Affairs Policy and Intelligence lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects related to 3 Pillars:
- Regulatory Intelligence: Anticipating & Interpreting the key trends of CHC regulatory environment to predict threats & business impact, and allow proactive mitigation strategies
- Regulatory Advocacy roadmap execution: Developing global roadmaps for advocacy priority topics.
- Regulatory Science & Policy: identify and manage regulatory policy globally across geographies.
Main responsibilities :
The Head of CHC Regulatory Sciences, Policy and Intelligence is a key strategic member of the Global Regulatory Affairs organization :
Manage the monitoring of regulatory environment by providing targeted newsletters with digested content of key changes related to Quality, Safety & efficacy guidelines, sustainability Trends, ingredients emerging risks, RWE, Rx-to-OTC Switches, e-commerce etc., anticipating regulatory trends and providing actionable insights with impact assessments of the evolving regulations, highlighting threats but also emerging opportunities in various markets and regions. Lead the development of a Unique strategic CHC scientific intelligence platform powered by AI to sharpen our competitive edge & capabilities & for driving local agendas with health authorities. Participate in Harmonization of Key Regulatory topics (ICH, WHO guidelines) of relevance to self-care portfolio Helps to develop of global cohesive and consistent advocacy and policy positions for the priorities while also managing the communication. Participate in engaging activities with Global Health Authority for regulatory reform, harmonization and reliance (through policy analysis, advocacy Tools , ad-hoc meetings or workshops for building and maintaining relationships with Health Authorities). Engage and influence key countries to align Influence Plan with global and regional strategic focus. Increase CHC external focus by identifying and managing topics to be presented in external conferences or to be published in regulatory or clinical/ medical journal (example, RWE use in CHC, e-PIL, How to drive sustainability when facing a diversified portfolio)

About you :
Education
Degree in Science or Higher degree Ph.D, Pharm.D, or MD
Required knowledge and/or experience
- 3 years’ regulatory experience desirable
- Ability to work in a complex multi-cultural environment
- Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication (written/verbal) and presentation skills
- Ability to navigate first time/unfamiliar situations effectively by extrapolating from other areas of expertise and knowledge. Ability to continuously improve and develop
- In depth understanding of the prescription and non-prescription drugs, herbal medicines, vitamins and mineral supplements, food supplements/nutraceuticals, medical devices, digital technologies, cosmetics development, and commercialization process.
Language skills
- Fluent spoken and written English
- An Additional language is desirable
