As Regional Category Buyer Corporate Services for North America region you will be responsible for implementing sourcing strategies according to category management strategies and leading sourcing for the category of spend & geographic scope assigned, and across all business units.

This includes activities such as, but not limited to, partnering with the internal business teams to support their objectives, assist with building project scopes, consolidate all business needs and specification, conduct Global Request for Proposal (RFP), negotiate contracts renewals, rate cards / discount schedules, and manage overall relationships with key suppliers.

He/she will be the Procurement expert in the region for Corporate Services, which include different type of activities like:

• Travel services: all suppliers in touch with business trips (travel agency, airlines, hotels, ground transportation)
• Strategic & Management Consulting projects : key projects with Senior Leaders,
• Legal & Compliance services : interacting with Law firms which are covered by LEBI Dpt (Legal, Ethics, Business Intergrity); and also suppliers supporting Global Quality Dpt which are most the time in touch with manufacturing sites,
• Financial & Insurance services : all third parties which are working closely with Finance Function

And potentially could manage additional Procurement categories of the Professional Services domain when required (and depending on the workload):

• Real Estate and Workplace Services (Real Estate, Facility Management, Building Maintenance, Security Services, Working Garments, Personal Protective Equipment, Office Supplies, Translation),
• External Workforce (temporary workers, Managed services, recruitment services),
• Human Resource Services (Rewards & Performance, Car fleet, Learning & Development, Business Process Outsourcing)

The overall spend under his/her supervision is about +90M€ spend/year.

This position part of Professional Services (PS) Domain will report to the PS Regional Category Manager for North America Region.

Main responsibilities:

Operations Management

• Supports the Global Lead Buyer or the Regional Category Manager of the category to ensure the strategy's execution.
• Delivers savings pipeline in line with targets
• Data crunching: Collect, clean, organize and analyze large volumes of raw data. Leveraging advanced Excel formulas and functions (V/Xlook up, index Match, concatenate, SUMIF, IFAND etc.). Stripping out unwanted information and formatting, translating data into the required format and structuring it for analysis (pareto, charts etc.) or processing by other applications. Once these steps are completed, apply analysis tools to the data to glean business insights.
• Leads RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for his/her category
• Contributes to and/or leads local projects according to Category Management
• Reports on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities he/she is in charge of.
• Stays informed on current industry trends and new market developments related to his/her category area
• Undertakes benchmarking against other industries and best practices
• Run SRM program with suppliers of his/her scope
• Support pre/post-audit management, Crisis management
• Maintains comprehensive understanding of Procurement Policies/Processes related to Risk/CSR/Compliance, and ensures that these are adhered to by relevant team members
• Identifies non-compliant processes and defines appropriate corrective measures Audit management

Stakeholder Management

• Develops strong partnerships with his/her key internal customers, and foster two-way supportive relationships with them
• Presents Procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and input

About you

• Experience: 4-7+ years' experience in Procurement or related field
• Soft and technical skills: The position requires sourcing professional skills with a strong ability to develop relationships within and across the different lines of business and throughout the Procurement organization, including transversal / project management skills as well as management skills in a multi-cultural environment:
• Knowledge of best-in-class Procurement techniques and processes
• Consistency of focus upon delivery of outcomes and results
• Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to utilize tools/systems accordingly
• Analytic advanced skills for data crunching purpose (Excel, Power BI, Thinkcell etc ).
• Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent priorities/projects
• Defines and balances strategic priorities against immediate operational challenges
• Able to quickly assimilate new information/skills
• Readily adapts to new environment, processes, ways of working, etc.
• Willingness and ability to challenge the status quo

• Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree from accredited University (master degree is preferred)
• Languages: Fluent in English
