Our Team:

The Pharmacometrics team at Sanofi plays a pivotal role in streamlining the development of innovative medicines across various therapeutic areas. By leveraging state-of-the-art modeling and simulation methods, we transform data into insights.

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Pharmacometrician to join our group in Germany.

Main responsibilities:

• Plan and execute various quantitative clinical pharmacology analyses, including population pharmacokinetics, exposure-response, and model-based meta analyses.
• Efficiently communicate analysis results to project teams, senior management, and internal governance bodies.
• Author and review analyses-related documentation such as dataset specifications, analysis plans, and reports, as well as relevant sections of other documents like clinical study protocols and reports, common technical documents, and responses to regulatory queries.
• Proactively integrate evolving and emerging tools from the pharmacometrics community into Sanofi’s toolbox.
• Contribute to the external quantitative clinical pharmacology community to advance model-informed drug development applications (e.g. scientific publications, conferences, and participation in external initiatives or working groups).

About you

Education and professional Experience

• A doctoral degree with relevant experience in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacometrics, Applied Mathematics, Systems Biology or a related field.

Technical skills

• Proven experience and proficiency with one or more dedicated quantitative pharmacology tools (e.g. NONMEM, Monolix, Simcyp, PK-Sim, etc.)
• Experience with one or more additional programming languages (e.g. R, Python, Matlab)

Soft skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to present and discuss technical information with stakeholders who may have less technical experience.
• Passion and enthusiasm for working in a multi-disciplinary team within a global setting, ensuring the timely delivery of scientific input to make a remarkable impact on patients’ lives.

Languages

• Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
