About the Job
This role reports into the Global Medical Immunology Head within the Global Medical Immunology Team, which is part of Sanofi’s Specialty Care organization. Our Medical function serves as a key strategic partner with commercial, regulatory, clinical, and market access on therapeutic solutions to support patients’ needs.
Within the Global Medical Immunology team, we are proud to support Sanofi’s unrelenting commitment to scientific exploration and to work on a robust pipeline of potential first-in-class / best-in-class treatments and other novel therapies in development for chronic dermatologic, respiratory, gastrointestinal and rheumatology diseases.
The Global Medical Ambassador will engage with top experts, Institutions, and healthcare decision makers to establish collaborative relationships and increase knowledge of the Dermatology therapeutic area and respond to queries/requests regarding Sanofi’s Immunology science, research, and pipeline. The Ambassador will communicate and advance the scientific platform as aligned with Pipeline Dermatology goals and objectives through interactions with multiple levels of the medical community. The Ambassador will also provide important training on complex scientific information and research concepts.

Main Responsibilities:
This key role will ensure successful development and execution of medical disease state education and training across multiple Immunology diseases with products for Sanofi in development for Dermatology, through:
Increase visibility to Sanofi’s Immunology Pipeline among leaders in the therapeutic area by identifying, establishing, and maintaining relationships with key experts, investigators, and institutions
Regular external scientific/medical presentations, e.g. scientific conferences, high-level scientific or business audiences
Organize and conduct disease state and product training to internal and external stakeholders. Provide other trainings as needed
Support the medical assessment of pre-clinical therapies, business development opportunities, and Life Cycle Management indications across the dermatology portfolio
Leverage the IMMUNOLAB platform to generate real-world insights and data needed to support medical Integrated Evidence Generation plans
Establish GLocal partnerships and assist in identification and mapping of experts for country affiliates to prioritize key local stakeholders and develop customized engagement plans
Engage on cross-functional collaboration where appropriate
Support, attend, and follow up on scientific congresses, symposia, or other events where appropriate
Assist in development of scientific material such as slide decks, in collaboration with Global Medical Leads and Directors
About You
Education:
MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent degree(s)) with relevant postgraduate clinical training
Specialization in Dermatology and/or Immunology
Experience:
Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
Track record of successfully developing/delivering medical education and scientific presentations
Knowledge of industry guidelines pertaining to interactions with health care providers (e.g., PhRMA Code, AdvaMed guidelines) and digital/medical educational (e.g., EFPIA/IFPMA)
Skills and behaviors:
Must possess the ability to provide strategic input and drive multiple complex projects
Strong business ethics
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required
Ability to critically analyze, interpret, and communicate complex medical/scientific data
Ability to understand and comply with regulations
Able to effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders regarding the planning and development publication deliverables
Strong project management skills and the ability to oversee agency partners and associated budget
Must be independent, multi-tasking, organized, and able to act as a leader in a fast-paced environment
Highly respected experts within their field & among peers
