About the Job

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director, Patient Support Services (PSS) Immunology to lead the development and execution of our patient support strategy for the launch of a new healthcare product. This role will lead the overall launch planning development and execution of end-to-end patient services operations, ensuring seamless patient access, adherence, and overall satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in patient-centric program development, stakeholder management, and operational execution in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

The candidate must have prior Patient Support Services experience, specifically in operations, be solution-oriented, operationally savvy, creative, highly organized, flexible, and adept at working in a matrix environment handling multiple deadlines and cross-functional stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Launch Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of patient services programs to support the commercial launch of a new therapy/product.

  • Program Strategy: In collaboration with key stakeholders develop comprehensive patient support strategies to support a seamless patient journey including hub services, reimbursement support, copay assistance, nurse/educator support, and digital tools.

  • Operational Readiness: Lead scalable infrastructure, workflows, and KPIs to ensure the program can support growth and adapt post-launch.

  • Vendor Management: Manage third-party service providers and hub vendors. Ensure programs are compliant, effective, and patient-focused.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across PSS stakeholders, Market Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Legal, and IT to align patient services with overall launch strategy.

  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure all programs adhere to relevant regulatory and legal standards, including HIPAA, OIG guidance, and pharma industry best practices.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics to track program effectiveness, patient satisfaction, and engagement. Provide regular reporting to senior leadership.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the internal and external champion for patient experience, continuously advocating for patient needs throughout the product lifecycle.

About You

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree (or higher) or relevant work experience.

  • 7+ years combined working within Patient Support Services or other bio-pharmaceutical roles.

  • Strong leadership and analytical skills, ability to deliver on project objectives on time and within budget.

  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

Preferences:

  • Prior experience launching a new product/therapy in patient support services.

  • Proven ability to lead and influence teams without direct authority.

  • Highly self-directed; proactively and independently work issues and manage projects with minimal direction.

  • Proven ability to communicate and present effectively to senior leaders, cross-functional and cross-organizational teams in a matrix environment.

The salary range for this position is:

$172,500.00 - $249,166.66
