What you'll be doing

• Take ownership of the quality of releases of our Chrome extension, web app, and back-end services
• Create and implement high-quality tests & technical documentation
• Measure and report on quality assurance metrics
• Track, prioritize, and update test status in Asana
• Work closely with Design, Engineering, and other stakeholders toIdentify system requirements
• Design testing strategies
• Improve on release & testing processes
• Provide clear written feedback
• Evangelize and implement best practices and optimizations throughout testing & bug-fixing

Must-have skills 💪

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Passionate about delivering flawless products
• Proven track record in developing test plans, test processes, test scenarios and writing test cases based on user stories
• Proficient with API testing utilizing tools (Postman)
• Thrives in a fast-paced Scrum environment
• Experience with manual testing of web and backend applications across multiple platforms
• Strong knowledge of testing processes, techniques, best practices, & metrics
• Highly analytical problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude and a great eye for detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to adapt to changing business & project priorities
• Native Spanish or Portuguese speaker from Latin America

Nice to haves 🍒

• Experience with unit/visual tests and various testing techniques
• Knowledge of Javascript and Python
• Familiar with test management tools (Testrail)
• Experience with Asana
• Experience working with different data models
• Experience with testing automation
• B1-B2 level of English fluency
