Purpose:
This team lead position is on-site in our South Carolina Distribution Center. The purpose of this position is to lead a team through day-to-day activities, supporting the fulfillment center in different capacities, and keeping the team motivated, productive, and solving problems.
The Team Lead is responsible for motivating and overseeing a group of employees. Their duties include training, setting daily and weekly objectives and expectations. They will monitor employee output, provide coaching when required, and provide support to their team(s). This position is for our 2nd shift (3:00pm-1:30am Monday-Thursday).
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop strategies to assist team members to better reach projected goals.
- Communicate clear instructions and goals to the team.
- Communicate clearly when employees meet or exceed expectations.
- Coach employees that under perform.
- Manage day-to-day operations flow including performance and output while keeping the quality of quantity mindset.
- Report to management team progress, roadblocks, setbacks, areas for improvement, and how to accomplish these tasks.
- Assign tasks
- Ensuring team is productive.
- Set the example and expectations for their team.
- Must obey and enforce safety procedures / policies

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience for the position:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Basic computer and Excel knowledge and experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Experience with inventory a plus.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods at a time.
- Ability to learn how different departments operate.
- Ability to learn web-based portals.
- Ability to learn to repair/refurbish/clean electronic devices
- Solid time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
