Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing network infrastructures, with specific expertise in Active Directory, Juniper, Okta, VPN technologies, and project management. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our network systems. This is a full time, on-site position and will require reporting to our offices located in Campbell, CA. Responsibilities, Skills & Hands-On Experience: - Network Management: Implement, update and comprehensively maintain network infrastructure built on Juniper/Ubiquiti technologies. SDWAN, Network Architecture experience is strongly encouraged.
- System Administration: Manage and maintain Active Directory services, including user account management, group policies, domain services and Windows / Linux servers
- Security Management: Implement and manage security protocols using Okta / Entra for identity and access management.
- VPN Administration: Configure and manage VPN connections to ensure secure remote access for global user base.
- Project Management: Manage IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate network and system documentation.
Education & Work Experience: - College degree in Computer Science or related field or experience equivalent.
- Ability and experience to configure Sonicwall Firewalls, Ubiquiti / Juniper Switches and Access Points.
- Experience with On-Premises Windows AD, DHCP and File and Print servers as well as Entra.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in network engineering and system administration.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Juniper technologies, Okta, and VPN management.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading IT projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with IAM, SAML, SSO and related identity solutions
- Recent Experience Administrating Office 365. Experience with Entra / Azure federation and managing multiple tenancies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, personal initiative, and enthusiasm to help end users.
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems (10/2016/2019) and Active Directory.
- Juniper switch experience is a plus.
- Recent experience with end-point security and management solutions.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds on a routine basis.
Our salary ranges are calculated by role, level, and location. Please note that your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, location, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications. The base salary range for this full-time position is between $140,000 - $160,000 + equity + benefits.
