Company

Birdstop, Inc. is an American drone technology company. Made possible by its recent breakthroughs in regulatory approvals and AI systems, Birdstop drones can operate continuously in a fully automated mode without personnel onsite. Birdstop systems actively serve our nation's critical infrastructure and public safety organizations with rapid response capabilities.

Role

Birdstop’s software empowers operators to remotely control and monitor complex drone fleets with a few simple clicks. Operators sitting hundreds of miles away can receive a wealth of telemetry data and live video feeds in real-time. In this role, you will work on both the frontend and backend to make sure the system is production-grade, responsive, and easy to use. You will handle large amounts of real-time data, including low-latency WebRTC video streams, and make sure Birdstop’s cloud infrastructure can scale as the user base grows. Your work will directly support safe and efficient drone operations for customers in complex, real-world environments. As such, this role will have a significant client facing and forward deployed component. You will often join meetings with prospective and existing clients, both over video conference and in-person at client sites.
