Senior Account Executive - East Coast
Sales & Business Development
United States
Birdstop, Inc. is an American drone technology company built for the demands of critical infrastructure. Powered by recent breakthroughs in AI autonomy and regulatory approvals, Birdstop systems operate continuously in a fully automated mode without personnel required onsite. Our Fealty platform and Perch docking station deliver persistent, NDAA-compliant aerial security to industrial facilities, energy operators, data centers, and public safety organizations across the country.
The Opportunity
The East Coast represents one of the densest concentrations of critical infrastructure in the country: data centers, pipeline corridors, rail yards, ports, industrial campuses, and energy facilities from Maine to Florida. Physical security budgets at these organizations are real, decision-makers are accessible, and autonomous drone technology is moving from pilot to procurement.
This is a senior individual contributor role. You will own the East Coast territory end-to-end: target account selection, outbound, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and contract close. You will bring existing relationships in the region and a track record of closing complex, high-value deals in physical security, unmanned systems, or adjacent technology. This position reports to the Director of Sales.
Who We're Looking For
You are already operating at a high level in this space. You have 5+ years selling autonomous drones, physical security technology, or critical infrastructure solutions, and you have closed deals with the kinds of buyers we sell to: Director and VP-level physical security, operations, and infrastructure leadership at industrial operators, data centers, energy companies, or similar enterprises. Ideally you have experience selling into large national accounts with multi-site footprints, organizations operating dozens or hundreds of facilities where an initial deployment opens the door to a national rollout.
You have existing relationships on the East Coast that you can activate. You understand NDAA compliance implications and can credibly lead that conversation. You run a disciplined process: pipeline is accurate, forecast is reliable, and you do not need hand-holding to get from first call to signed contract. You move fast and communicate proactively when timelines shift.
Qualifications
5+ years in enterprise sales at a drone, unmanned systems, or physical security technology company, with a focus on critical infrastructure, energy, data centers, or industrial accounts. Experience selling into large national accounts with multi-site deployment potential strongly preferred.
Existing East Coast relationships with physical security or operations leadership at data centers, industrial operators, energy companies, or similar enterprises strongly preferred.
Demonstrated track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals, with $40K+ average deal size and 3-9 month sales cycles.
Familiarity with NDAA compliance requirements and the ability to lead that conversation with procurement and security leadership.
Experience with enterprise contract negotiation and complex procurement processes (RFPs, sole-source justifications, capital budget cycles).
Familiarity with FAA Part 107, BVLOS, or critical infrastructure airspace requirements a plus.
Strong written communication, with the ability to produce sharp proposals and customer correspondence quickly.
Outbound hunter mentality, with self-sourced pipeline.
Experience with a structured sales methodology (MEDDIC or equivalent) preferred.
Comfortable with significant travel across the East Coast territory.
Key Responsibilities
Own new logo acquisition across the East Coast: data centers, pipeline operators, industrial campuses, ports, rail, and energy facilities.
Build and execute a territory plan with clearly prioritized target accounts, outbound cadences, and quarterly pipeline goals.
Run disciplined outbound into Director/VP-level physical security, operations, and infrastructure leadership.
Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first contact through signed contract, managing procurement, legal, and technical evaluation tracks in parallel.
Develop and deliver proposals, ROI models, and presentations tailored to each buyer's operational and budgetary context.
Negotiate enterprise contracts and navigate complex procurement processes including RFPs and capital budget approvals.
Translate customer requirements into internal work items, and validate feasibility with engineering and compliance.
Maintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and forecasting in CRM.
Represent Birdstop at relevant East Coast industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
