The Director of Operations l will set direction to establish the group's vision as it relates to Firms goals and objectives and utilizing intellectual rigor to create strategy and build a profitable and sustainable culture. The Director of Operations I must be able to balance big picture goals with detailed knowledge of fine points to reach these goals. They must also have the ability to convey a message that is understandable and relevant, linking business issues, financial results, and strategy which coincide with the values of the Firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with firm’s Leadership to provide insight and planning on financial performance, growth, and overall success

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to promote revenue, operational efficiency, and growth

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effective resource management

  • Evaluate and improve service strategy to enhance client experience, increase sales, and drive growth

  • Foster a high-performance culture by attracting and retaining a motivated service team

  • Monitor key performance indicators, financial statements, and activity reports to track progress and adjust plans accordingly

  • Develop and oversee annual operating and capital budgets

  • Evaluate colleague performance and ensure alignment with firm objectives

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Accounting, and Marketing teams for project success

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven

  • Collaborative and open to problem-solving with others

  • Financial planning and resource management abilities

  • Excellent communication skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 7-10 years of leadership experience in service or insurance industries

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred

  • Experience in managing and motivating teams in a professional services environment

  • Proficiency in strategic planning and problem-solving for increased profitability
