Sushi Note is launching it's new fine dining omakase brand, Sushi Note Omakase, on Rodeo Dr in the heart of Beverly Hills. Sushi Note is now hiring for a qualified professional sushi chef to join our team. Our small team of sushi chefs get an hourly wage plus tips that combine for annual earnings usually between $75K-$95K based on five dinner shifts per week. Our chefs stay with us because of the team environment and focus on mutual respect in the workplace. This position is responsible for the preparation and service of sushi menu item including daily inventory and inspection of all fish. This position is in control of all sushi making ingredients in order to ensure quality control of raw materials. Our chefs working the sushi bar line create thoughtful omakase course for our guests nightly.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Upscale experience in sushi preparation and excellent customer service skills.
• Has previous experience as a sushi chef and omakase service.
• Line cook experience is a plus.
• Able to follow recipes and take initiative in a guest service focused environment.
• Maintains a sense of urgency attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
• Consistently maintaining a high degree of cleanliness and organization with appearance, throughout preparation area, and sushi bar.
• Expediting and controlling quality of dishes.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($75,000.00 - $95,000.00) plus tips
