Maydan, one of DC's premiere restaurants, is in search of an energetic professional who has an excellent track record in hospitality and who thrives in a fast-paced service environment. Our focus is genuine hospitality. Maydan is seeking a host/hostess/maitre d to join us in guiding guests on culinary journeys.

Responsibilities:
- Able to communicate clearly in and possess a good command of verbal and written English
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to understand and respond to individual guests needs and requirements
- A genuine passion and understanding of food and drink
- Exceptional communication and presentational skills
- Must be able to help resolve problems with manager assistance
- Fine dining experience preferred
- Extensive experience in a high-volume restaurant atmosphere
- Willingness to learn and be an integral part of an exciting environment
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills required
