We are seeking a skilled and passionate Wood-Fired Pizza Chef for a new restaurant in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crafting delicious wood-fired pizzas, demonstrating expertise in dough preparation, sauce creation, and pizza baking. The Wood-Fired Pizza Chef will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation, and contributing to a positive kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Dough Preparation: Prepare and manage pizza dough, ensuring proper fermentation, consistency, and quality.
- Sauce Creation: Develop and execute flavorful pizza sauces using high-quality ingredients, balancing taste profiles to enhance overall pizza experience.
- Toppings Selection: Choose and source fresh, high-quality toppings that complement the wood-fired cooking style, ensuring a diverse and appealing menu.
- Pizza Baking: Operate and manage the wood-fired pizza oven, ensuring pizzas are cooked to perfection with a crispy crust and well-melted toppings.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and exciting wood-fired pizza menu options, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain consistent food quality, addressing any issues promptly to meet customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination during busy periods and uphold a positive working environment.

Requirements:
