Hours: 10 PM – 6 AM
Compensation: Based on experience
Füdmill is looking for a skilled and motivated Overnight Baker & Dough Production team member to join our bakery. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter with experience in bread, dough, and viennoiserie production who thrives in a fast-paced, overnight setting.
Responsibilities:- Prepare, mix, and shape various doughs, including bread and viennoiserie.
- Proof and bake viennoiserie to achieve the perfect texture and flavor.
- Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as mixers, proofers, and ovens.
- Monitor proofing, fermentation, and baking processes for optimal results.
- Multitask efficiently to handle multiple production tasks at once.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Work efficiently and independently while contributing to a positive team environment.
- Ensure timeliness in meeting production deadlines.
- Experience in a bakery setting, particularly with bread and viennoiserie.
- Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, shaping, and baking techniques.
- Ability to proof and bake viennoiserie with precision.
- Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple production tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and stay on task overnight.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
