Sushi Note Omakase in Beverly Hills is looking for lovers of wine and sushi to join our team in the role of Service Supervisor. This role oversees and participates in service as a partner to the restaurant General Manager. We focus on equal parts wine service and great sushi service. We need industry professionals that have developed their wine skills as well as service skills through positions within the elevated dining industry. The compensation is an elevated hourly rate plus tip pool and an additional beverage commission based on bottles and wine pairings sold each night. We are looking for restaurant professionals who want to grow in a small team environment. Experience in fine dining or upscale casual shift supervision/lead server a plus. Basic wine knowledge & wine service experience is expected (CMS 1 equivalent).

Our Service Supervisor participates each night in servicing a small table section and performing the wine pairings and bottle service throughout the restaurant. Additional supervisory tasks include insuring the restaurant set up is accurate and ready for the guest experience, preparing daily menus for service team, performing pre-shift team meeting, leading service, concluding service, end of night daily report and ensuring team has properly closed up the restaurant. The anticipated schedule need is four or five shifts shifts, likely Sunday - Wednesday, 4pm - close (usually between 11-11:30pm). Evening availability and flexibility is required.
