Job Description

As Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including cooking, food preparation, logistics, and daily operations. Your responsibilities include managing inventory, ordering supplies, scheduling shifts, and ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.

The ideal candidate will combine culinary expertise with strong management skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities are essential. In this role, your focus will be on building and maintaining a high-performing team that meets financial goals and company objectives while supporting the Kitchen Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff across designated stations.

  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct weekly assessments.

  • Ensure all food products are stored in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain weekly and monthly cost reports.

  • Manage food, beverage, labor, and other controllable expenses.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.

  • Work 8 to 10-hour shifts, as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of restaurant or kitchen management/supervisory experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Comprehensive understanding of how kitchen responsibilities connect with other hotel and Food & Beverage operations.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, with minimum 8 to 10-hour days.

  • Proven experience in hiring, training, and empowering employees while providing consistent feedback and accountability.

  • Ability to foster teamwork and maintain productive relationships with peers.

  • Excellent guest service skills.

  • Capacity to handle difficult or high-pressure situations with tact and professionalism.
