Job Summary: As a Bartender at Bardea Restaurant Group, you will be the heart of our bar, crafting exceptional beverages and providing a memorable experience for our guests. You will demonstrate an extensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, and other beverages while ensuring a welcoming and efficient service atmosphere. Your expertise and customer engagement will play a vital role in enhancing our guests' dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks.
  • Engage with guests at the bar, providing exceptional customer service and building rapport through friendly conversation and personalized recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are stocked and readily available.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the drink menu and current specials, effectively communicating offerings to guests.
  • Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible serving practices to ensure guest safety and compliance with state regulations.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while keeping the bar’s cash register balanced.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth service flow and maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Support the creation of new drink recipes and contribute to the seasonal beverage menu.
  • Attend regular staff meetings and participate in ongoing training to stay updated on beverage trends and menu changes.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, drink preparation techniques, and beverage trends.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse guests.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications (e.g., bartending license, TIPS certification).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
