New York’s famed Pastis, a longtime hot spot known for its Parisian fare from James Beard Award-winning restaurateurs Stephen Starr and Keith McNally, has made its way to the Music City.
Located in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, Pastis Nashville features many of the beloved elements that define the iconic brand — a classic curved zinc bar outfitted with signature subway tiles, vintage mirrors with handwritten daily specials, and mosaic-tiled floors, all illuminated by the warm glow of Pastis’ signature golden lighting.
We’re seeking Sauté Cooks who are skilled, efficient, and passionate about classic French technique, precision, and creating beautifully executed dishes in a high-energy kitchen.

Who You Are:
-
2+ years of experience as a Sauté Cook or Line Cook in a high-volume, upscale restaurant
-
Strong knowledge of sauté techniques, sauce work, and plating standards
-
Excellent knife skills and attention to timing and temperature control
-
Ability to stay composed and organized during service

Collaborative, team-oriented, and eager to learn

Experience with French or brasserie-style cuisine is a plus
