About The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Manager, Booking Operations to build, own, and scale the operational backbone of Fora’s supplier and booking platform ecosystem. As Fora continues to grow, this role will play a pivotal part in strengthening the reliability and performance of our booking systems. You’ll lead initiatives that make our operations smarter and more resilient — transforming our approach from reactive problem-solving to proactive optimization that empowers our advisors and enhances their booking experience.
You’ll design structured, scalable workflows that connect the dots across support, product, partnerships, and suppliers — creating clarity, accountability, and consistency in how we detect and resolve issues. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in operational complexity and wants to shape how our systems scale.
You’ll report to the Director of Product Operations and work closely with the VP of Product, Booking Platform and the Director of Partnerships, with deep cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, support, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own operational workflows across our booking platform and supplier ecosystem — ensuring bookings are reliable, consistent, and scalable.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to proactively detect, escalate, and resolve booking and supplier issues before they reach advisors.
- Define and maintain SLAs for supplier issue response and resolution, and create dashboards that provide clear visibility into platform health.
- Standardize how we manage supplier data (rates, perks, loyalty programs, contracts) and operationalize supplier updates at scale.
- Design and implement automations and tooling to reduce manual work, improve speed, and enhance booking accuracy.
- Serve as a critical point of coordination between support, product, partnerships, and engineering to ensure streamlined communication and resolution.
- Partner with Support to reduce advisor pain points through upstream defect resolution and systemic process improvements.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years in hotel distribution or adjacent travel technology roles, with hands-on ownership of integrations, booking systems, and channel management.
- Proven ability to drive complex operations from strategy to execution.
- Proven experience building and scaling repeatable workflows, SLAs, and dashboards tied to operational performance.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills — capable of identifying systemic issues and creating structured solutions.
- Deep understanding of supplier/platform data ecosystems (e.g., PMS, CRS, GDS, or similar systems).
- Excellent cross-functional communicator — persuasive, clear, and able to rally diverse teams around shared operational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and operationalize external partnerships and vendor relationships.
- Comfortable leading cross-functional escalations and driving clarity and accountability across multiple stakeholders.
Strongly Preferred
- Hands-on technical skills (e.g., SQL or automation tools), experience with supplier tooling or travel tech integrations.
Compensation
Compensation for this role varies based on experience, with an indicative range of $120K–$180K + equity. Final compensation will depend on the level at which the candidate is hired, as we’re considering multiple levels for this role.
