As a Psychiatry Support Medical Assistant on our Psychiatry Support and Intake team, you’ll handle prescriber and member requests efficiently and effectively.

This is a full-time, hourly role in our Decatur, GA office.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with the Office Manager and other team members to ensure tasks are handled promptly and properly
• Attend required meetings to stay up to date with relevant changes
• Communicate with team members and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Coordinate medication refill requests, prior authorizations and referrals for extended care, as well as order genetic and lab tests
• Administer injections to patients in office when needed
• Complete EHR cases in order to achieve the projected metrics

What you’ll bring

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and calm in high-stress and crisis situations
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude
• Attention to detail, and a willingness to ask for help
• Proficiency with Google Office Suite or related software

What you’ll receive

• Hourly rate of $20/hour
• Schedule of 8:30a-5pm M-Th and 9a-1p Friday
