Summary

At Foresight, the Clinical Operations Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in medication refill processes, medication management, and various operational tasks within the Specialized Care Team. Your expertise in psychiatric drugs, including indications and side effects, coupled with your commitment to operational efficiency, will contribute to the overall success of our Psychiatry team and patient outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for medication consultation with psychiatry providers, messaging triage, medication counseling, and drug utilization review to ensure comprehensive patient care.

As an Clinical Operations Pharmacist:

  • Medication Refills:
    • Process medication refill requests efficiently and accurately, with a focus on psychiatric medications.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to address prescription-related issues..
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Medication Counseling:
    • Provide comprehensive medication counseling on an as needed basis, including information on psychiatric medications, indications, potential side effects, and proper administration.
    • Address patient queries and concerns regarding their prescriptions.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.
  • Medication Consultation with Psychiatry Providers:
    • Collaborate with psychiatry providers to offer medication consultations, ensuring alignment with patient treatment plans.
    • Participate in discussions regarding medication adjustments, adherence, and potential therapeutic alternatives.
    • Provide insights on the availability and characteristics of psychiatric medications.
  • Messaging Triage:
    • Manage medication-related messages, inquiries, and communications from patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
    • Respond promptly and effectively to medication-related queries, providing clear and accurate information.
  • Drug Utilization Review:
    • Conduct drug utilization reviews to ensure safe and effective medication use.
    • Evaluate patient profiles for potential drug interactions, duplications, and therapeutic appropriateness.
    • Collaborate with psychiatry providers to optimize medication regimens based on drug utilization review findings.
  • Operational Management:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of operational processes and procedures, with a specialization in psychiatric medication management.
    • Collaborate with operational teams to streamline workflow and enhance efficiency.
    • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate medication records.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy in the dispensing and documentation of medications.
    • Identify and rectify any discrepancies in prescription orders.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Specialized Care Team, psychiatry and other healthcare providers, to achieve common goals.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for continuous improvement.
  • Other Duties As Required:
    • In this role, flexibility and adaptability are key. You will be expected to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the evolving needs of the team and the company. This may include tasks that are outside of your usual job description, providing an opportunity to grow your skills and experience in new areas.

What You Offer:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Clinical experience in psychiatric pharmacy or mental health setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and their management.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clinical experience in psychiatric pharmacy or mental health setting preferred.

What You’ll Receive:

  • $72,800 salary commensurate with experience ranging between
  • Results Time Off plan “RTO” Under this plan, eligible employees can take reasonable time off as desired with no accrual bank)
