About the Role
Bridge is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Working Capital Advisor to leverage their experience in commercial lending to accelerate our growth. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with at least two years of experience, who thrives on building robust relationships and executing financing deals end-to-end—from initial sourcing through closing and funding.
As a Working Capital Advisor, you'll be at the forefront of our strategic expansion, directly impacting growth by connecting middle-market borrowers to competitive financing solutions. You'll also shape the future of fintech through close collaboration with our product and technology teams.
This role reports directly to the VP of Capital Solutions.
Location: Flexible (Remote or Hybrid, NYC or Charlotte preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Building & Deal Execution: Proactively cultivate and nurture relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs), commercial lenders, and middle-market business owners, ensuring a robust and active referral pipeline.
- End-to-End Deal Management: Drive deals from initial sourcing through borrower evaluation, lender coordination, and successful closing and funding.
- Strategic Engagement: Collaborate closely with our extensive lender network, including Commercial Banks, SBA lenders, CDFIs, and Credit Funds, to provide tailored capital solutions to middle-market businesses.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and technology teams, offering strategic insights and actionable feedback to continuously enhance our fintech platform, optimizing the commercial lending experience.
- Business Development: Proactively identify new opportunities to expand our borrower and lender network, leveraging existing relationships and strategically pursuing new partnerships to increase deal volume and platform adoption.
What You Bring to the Team
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate/commercial lending, with a preference for candidates experienced in Working Capital, SBA, or purchase order financing.
- Demonstrable success in developing and maintaining a network of referral sources, including lenders, advisors, and other influential stakeholders.
- Proven track record executing end-to-end financing deals—evaluating opportunities, coordinating with borrowers and lenders, and closing/funding loans.
- Strong business development skills and entrepreneurial mindset, balancing customer empathy with aggressive growth objectives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to effectively engage diverse stakeholders including senior executives, lenders, and business owners.
- Passion for fintech, combined with an eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally with technology and product teams to innovate and optimize the lending experience.
