‍About the Role

Bridge is seeking a motivated GRC Analyst (Part-Time/Internship) to help strengthen our governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks as we scale. You'll work directly with our leadership team and have the opportunity to build foundational compliance programs that protect our fintech platform and ensure regulatory adherence. This role is perfect for someone passionate about governance and compliance who wants hands-on experience in a fast-growing fintech environment.

‍Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Audit Support

• Implement, update and maintain SOC 2 compliance programs using Thoropass platform
• Gather evidence and documentation for quarterly audits and assessments
• Coordinate compliance training across the organization
• Support vendor risk assessments and compliance questionnaire responses
• Maintain compliance documentation and control implementation records
• Assist with audit preparation and remediation activities

Governance, Risk & Compliance Operations

• Conduct risk assessments for new systems, integrations, and third-party services
• Develop and maintain risk registers and compliance matrices
• Support regulatory reporting and documentation requirements
• Monitor compliance with financial services regulations and industry standards
• Assist with policy development, updates, and governance framework implementation
• Help maintain compliance dashboards and reporting metrics
• Support internal control testing and documentation

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with legal, finance, and operations teams on regulatory requirements
• Support compliance reviews for new business partnerships and vendor relationships
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on regulatory compliance requirements
• Provide governance guidance for business processes and procedures

What You Bring to the Team

Required:

• Completed or currently pursuing undergraduate or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Legal Studies, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Understanding of governance principles and compliance frameworks
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Interest in fintech and/or financial services regulatory requirements

Preferred:

• Experience with GRC platforms, particularly Thoropass for SOC 2 compliance management
• Familiarity with SOC 2, PCI DSS, or other compliance frameworks
• Knowledge of financial services regulations (BSA/AML, CCPA, SOX, etc.)
• Experience with risk management methodologies and frameworks
• Understanding of internal controls and audit processes
• Experience with documentation and process improvement
• Knowledge of vendor management and third-party risk assessment

• Hourly compensation depending on experience level
