Job Description

Experian Partner Solutions (EPS) is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong PHP and front-end technologies background to work with our critical platform and to support maintenance activities. Senior Software Engineers are hands-on coders as well as high-level designers and thinkers - they are responsible for designing, developing, building, testing and deploying web tier applications.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently and offer insights and analysis on existing codebase.

• Performance considerations are second nature

• Works effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment

• Participates in the estimates for projects based on interface wireframes/desired functionality.

• Develop re-usable patterns and encourage innovation that will improve team velocity.

• Researches emerging topics related to assigned tasks

• Participates in all pertinent project meetings

• Provides appropriate research to support business and information technology groups within the organization

• Advises on options, impact on other business processes, and system priorities

• Prioritizes assigned tasks and keeps manager up to date on status and roadblocks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• 7 + years’ experience with front-end development using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, responsive design.

• 6 + years OO and MVC software/web/API dev experience required

• Expert level knowledge in PHP required.

• Expertise in Symfony preferred.

• 3+ years’ experience in creating and consuming RESTFUL webservices using PHP.

• React.js skills desirable.

• Knowledge in Cloud/Hybrid Cloud AWS would be a plus.

• Use of Git SCM command line and tools required.

• Behavior driven design experience preferred.

• Experience with Agile Methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of software development and project management methodologies

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Good organizational skills

• Recognize and acknowledge the value of other's contributions
