Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our Global Digitization team and work closely with our global and regional Product Management teams. The person on the role will be steering the evolution of our application user interface designs. You will oversee the creation of functionality which will be intuitive and important to our users. This will involve creating wireframe documents and prototypes, collaborating with the development teams and gathering feedback from other stakeholders during the product development lifecycle.
This position requires an individual with strong leadership and relationship skills, coupled with a demonstrated track record of designing high quality user interfaces for major software applications.

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Business Analysts and Development teams to create high quality user experience and intuitive interfaces for complex software applications.
  • Create standard UX documentation including conceptual models, wireframes, user flows, user scenarios, navigation schemas, documentation and working prototypes.
  • Develop and maintain the internal standards, templates and processes necessary to ensure a consistent, unified, high quality user experience across all products in the suite.
  • Oversee creation of mock-ups and functional prototypes.
  • Work with development teams and stakeholders to ensure designs are successfully implemented.
  • Support operational needs in terms of Experian/DA style guides and visual branding.

Qualifications

What you are expected to bring:

  • 4+ years user interface design and usability evaluation experience (preferably around web-based UIs).
  • High degree of creativity, interaction design and problem solving ability.
  • Strong UX design standards and workflow processes using Figma, Axure or similar
  • Well developed communication skills and the ability to present visual designs to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with usability testing processes and prototyping.
  • Good understanding of product development lifecycle; some knowledge of product and project management
  • Excellent organisation skills – ability to handle a dynamic environment.
  • Positive and professional approach at all times.
  • Strong diplomacy and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to liaise with staff at all levels, and across regions and business units.
  • Initiative and ability to demonstrate a pro-active approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail.
