As a leader within Experian’s Global Security Office Security Architecture and Engineering team, you’ll be managing a team of Database security Engineers in our DAM (Database Activity Monitoring) team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping drive Experian's DAM strategy by fostering strong relationships with key business stakeholders across the globe.

• • 10+ years of job experience in IT and at least 5+ years in security
• • 3+ years of IT leadership or supervisory experience in managing a team of security professionals.
• • Knowledge of database technologies, Data protection skills and experience with cloud technologies, preferably with AWS.

• Representing the team and supporting strategic initiatives across the global organization. Oversee DAM and vulnerability management processes ensuring constant improvement in processes.
• Coordinating day-to-day operations and administering company policies and procedures through subordinate exempt and non-exempt staff. Includes assigning work, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, training, directing efforts and providing technical guidance on complex issues. May act as individual contributor for some areas of responsibility.
• Managing members of DAM team on a day-to-day basis, including conducting regular performance review meetings with direct reports.Helping ensure DAM controls are defined and developed to operate effectively and compliantly. Driving continuous improvement across the team. Developing and managing the DAM program governance and related documentation closely aligned with agreed.
• Supporting the leadership team in developing and delivering security strategy and roadmaps within the DAM domain.The management of business engagement activities, driving standards and being the champion for new technologies to continue improving the organization’s overall Data security posture. Identifying and delivering key management reporting requirements.
• Working in conjunction with HR, successfully recruiting replacement and additional members of the team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of external best practice and changes in new technology and incorporate into working practices.Any other duties commensurate with the responsibilities/grade of the post.

• BS in Science and technology or Engineering or Equivalent
• Management Degree MBA, BBA preferable
• Secutiry certificates CISSP or CISM preferred
• Knowledge of database technologies and Data protection skills

Databases are the primary repositories for Experian's critical data. Logging and monitoring these databases for abnormal activities is a crucial control measure to mitigate the risk of data misuse and exfiltration, thereby reducing the likelihood of data breaches. The majority of the team responsible for monitoring database activity is located in India. This managerial position plays a vital role in managing the team, enhancing delivery quality, and optimizing resource utilization.
