Job Description

The Payroll Specialist Expert is a critical role focused on the meticulous execution and enhancement of payroll functions. Recognized as a subject matter expert, the Specialist is responsible for diving deep into the complexities of payroll processing, identifying and implementing process improvements, and ensuring seamless operation. The role demands a high degree of technical proficiency and an analytical mindset to manage and optimize the payroll system's efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical SME on all payroll-related matters, owning the resolution of complex issues and providing expert guidance.
• Identify process improvements within the payroll domain for enhancement and implementing changes to streamline operations.
• Serve as an SME for the team, offering deep insights into legislative rules, regulations, and garnishment processing to ensure accurate employee payment.
• Collaborate closely with the Payroll Supervisor to align process improvements with the broader strategic goals of the payroll department.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in payroll processing, with a proven track record as a payroll expert, particularly within multinational or corporate environments.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Oracle or similar payroll systems, showcasing a higher level of technical expertise.
• Strong command of local labor and tax laws & regulations, with a deeper understanding of complex payroll issues.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, with relevant professional certifications preferred.
• Proven track record in payroll processing and process improvement
