Job Description

Job Purpose

Participate in projects performed in the team by eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirements and closely collaborate with project team and stakeholders

Main Responsibilities

  • Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements in the area of data analysis and data processing (incl. file, API or other input data analysis and mapping to target data model, data migration and data loading mappings, data mappings from target data model to output APIs, databases, extracts)
  • Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements, when needed, related to UI products, business process descriptions and flow optimizations.
  • Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements, when needed, on existing software programs, applications and services.
  • Identify and track requirements changes.
  • Work with the development and testing team members, as part of the team, and ensure that requirements are well-understood
  • Facilitate requirement prioritization
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and report progress accordingly
  • Maintain requirements backlog
  • Suggest product improvements and new features
  • Suggest improvements in BA practices and ways of working
  • Work closely with the business to support their success and long-term vision
  • Understand the big picture and be advocate of reusability and productization

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in business analysis or a related field
  • Background in software development projects and delivery methodologies, Agile with Scrum or Kanban using Jira
  • Experience with requirement elicitation, analysis and documentation
  • Knowledge of business analysis techniques (Use Case/User Stories and Acceptance criteria/Process modelling)
  • Ability to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Fluent in Danish and English
  • Experience working with cross-region virtual teams
  • Experience within Financial industries is desirable
  • Experience with legacy and system migration is desirable
