Job Description

The role of EMEA Pricing Business Partner is a highly commercial position within the EMEA pricing function and reports to the Head of Pricing, EMEA & APAC.

The Pricing Business Partner will support the development, delivery & maintenance of pricing configuration tools and pricing analytics capabilities that will drive informed price decision making and directly impact strategic sales activity across the Region. The role will also take direct responsibility for pricing non-complex bids and working with Sales teams to deliver commercial offers to clients.

As a Pricing Business Partner you will be expected to:

  • Partner the pricing function in the collection of resource inputs and costs for complex bids and product pricing. This will involve working with finance and product management teams.
  • Ownership and maintenance of the various pricing tools, ensuring tools are updated and published to markets. Providing training and support across the Region where necessary.
  • Work within the published OMCP process to deliver pricing for complex bids working in collaboration with the Regional sales teams and market finance / sales operations leads.
  • Collaborate with the local commercial strategy teams to collate market insight and feed into the pricing team to support value based pricing and market specific pricing tools.
  • Co-ordinate and project manage the implementation of new tools, systems (e.g. CPQ) and work practices ensuring minimum disruption to current EMAP pricing capabilities and an overall net gain in pricing effectiveness & governance.

Qualifications

What you are expected to bring:

  • 4+ years' experience in a commercial function for a multi-national organisation.
  • High exposure or direct experience of commercial value based B2B pricing within a similar organisation.
  • Relevant experience gained in a similar organisation or finance services (banking) organisation.
  • Knowledge of the end to end deal Sales Cycle (Bid, Proposal, Negotiation, Contract, Pricing, Delivery, Service / SLAs) highly desirable.
  • Strong academic background with ideally a recognized professional qualification in business, commercial or finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent problem solving, project co-ordination & analytical skills.
  • Understanding and interest in the impact of pricing and strategic decisions on business .outcomes
