Company Description

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Digital Workplace to lead our transformative efforts in Brazil, focusing on enhancing end-user services and driving operational excellence. This role will oversee a substantial team and manage outsourced contractors, emphasizing team development, coaching, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital workplace strategy for Brazil, with a heavy focus on local business needs and objectives. Lead initiatives to optimize end-user services, including service desk operations, IT experience and productivity enhancements, and asset management, while aligning with global standards where feasible.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations including service desk management, SLA adherence, asset and software license management (SAM/HAM), and desktop engineering. Ensure seamless support for end-user services and effective management of outsourced third-party vendors.
  • Team Development and Leadership: Build and develop a high-performance team of approximately 35 FTEs and oversee 70+ managed services contractors. Provide strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and oversee projects to enhance digital workplace services, leveraging automation, AI, and chatbots to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies. Ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timelines. Additionally, the leader will oversee the onboarding process for new employees resulting from mergers and acquisitions. This includes ensuring that end users have functional devices, appropriate access, and are productive from day one.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on troubleshooting and escalation support for critical issues as needed. Demonstrate proficiency in managing IT infrastructure and implementing technical solutions to support business operations effectively.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with global peers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to influence and align on digital workplace strategies. Build strong relationships to drive consensus and successful implementation of initiatives.
  • Change Management and Adoption: Champion change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes among end-users. Develop communication strategies to promote awareness and maximize user engagement.
  • Cost Management: Identify opportunities for cost savings through automation, AI implementation, and efficient vendor management. Manage budgets effectively and optimize resource allocation to achieve financial objectives.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in end-user computing, service desk management, and desktop engineering.
  • Proficient in managing outsourced third-party vendors, SLA management, asset management (SAM/HAM), and implementing ITIL best practices.
  • Experience in team development, coaching, and mentoring with a track record of building high-performance teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large teams of both FTEs and contractors, emphasizing collaboration and professional growth.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and build consensus across global teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong project leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully driving complex projects forward and achieving desired outcomes.
