Job Description

Are you seeking a mobile developer position with a Startup feel but an experienced company work methodology? Experian Consumer Services (ECS) Mobile Teams offers this and much more.

This is enabled by a customer base that enjoys using the newest hardware and software improvements released by device manufacturers.

Reporting to the Senior Software Development Manager, you will:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle (concept, development, deployment, testing, and release management).
• You will evaluate assignments/requests and have experience making any architectural tradeoffs required to provide software solutions and projects.
• Experience creating detailed technical documentation and a solid ability to present and defend technical and architectural choices.
• Investigate and Prototype new technologies.
• Foresee future changes and lead the feature team to provide expandable and scalable solutions.
• Participate in cross-team engineering efforts such as improving code review systems, building pipelines, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• You have 1 or more years of experience in iOS application development using Swift.
• You know Objective C.
• UI development using SwiftUI, but are also familiar with Storyboards and XIBs.
• You have a published iOS app on the Apple App Store.
• Understanding of the software and mobile development life cycle.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs with iOS applications.
• Comfortable working in a team environment following the Agile methodology.
• You understand iOS UX and work with the design team to ensure UI designs are aligned with the current iOS UI guidelines.
• Interest and Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge.
• Understand how to mock and provide end-to-end coverage for API components.
• You have experience working with large code bases and a shared REST API library.
• Experience with offline storage, background processing, threading, and performance optimization.
• You will work as part of a team to deliver well-designed, reusable, and high-quality code on time.
