Job Description

The Data Quality Manager's primary responsibility is to work with multiple stakeholders. You will lead the Data Annotation team, supporting, designing, and implementing processes for manual annotation. You will also prepare data for reports/dashboards, perform ad hoc analyses of data, and identify relevant optimization opportunities.

You will be asked to support the Data Science and ECS teams by understanding the data, and performance metrics. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving on data metric reporting.

  • You have 2 or more years of project/program management experience
  • You will manage a team of data labelers supporting, designing, and implementing processes for annotation. (These data labelers work remotely.)
  • Develop technical domain expertise in areas of transaction annotation
  • Coordinate and improve our processes for generating high-quality data to train our models
  • Manage all data science triage tickets
  • Build reports and views with an eye toward long-term maintainability.
  • Collaborate with engineering to improve reporting databases, find and fix the cause of data anomalies, and support all reports.
  • You will work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Coordinate and improve our processes for generating high-quality data to train our models
  • Define quantitative metrics to improve data quality
  • You will work with the Data Science team to establish and maintain data performance metrics
  • Collaborate with the service quality engineering team and enhance the test dataset.

Qualifications

  • You have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • 2+ years experience working on machine learning products and data annotation processes
  • You can lead a growing team that performs manual operations.
  • Commitment to data accuracy and throughput
  • Familiarity with the U.S. financial or U.S. credit industry
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, and database management.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to data quality.
  • Certification in data management or data quality.
