Job Description
We are looking for Software Engineer with Java to join PowerCurve Collections Software Engineering Group. PowerCurve® Collections is our debt management system that enables our clients to maximize collections efforts and make more profitable decisions. Our development teams are focused on developing customizable and user-friendly capabilities which further strengthen the market leading position of our proposition. As part of the team, you will report to the Software Team Manager.
What you will do:
- Research and develop high-quality software
- Produce high quality clean, testable and efficient code
- Work with Product Owner
- Architects to capture functional requirements and dependencies
- Perform code reviews and ensure new code is following established coding practices
- Share knowledge and inspire teammates to improve their technical skills
- Guide and foster engineering excellence
- Write automation tests as part of the development process.
Qualifications
What we are expecting you to bring:
- Understanding in software architecture and design principles
- 3+ years experience as a Java Developer (Java 11+)
- Experience building cloud-native applications with Spring Boot and Docker
- Experience with Spring Ecosystem (Spring boot, Spring REST, Spring Security, etc.)
- Experience with Relational Databases
- Experience with unit/integration/e2e tests: JUnit/Mockito/Selenium/Cucumber, build tools: Maven/Gradle
- Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, JWT and Spring Cloud, OSGI, BPMN
- Experience with Scrum or any other Agile methodology
- Experience writing clean, organized code, passionate and curious
Advantages:
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
- Basic knowledge of Front End tools: JavaScript/TypeScript,
