Ad Operations Specialist

Experian Marketing Services are known for their deep insights on UK consumers spanning demographics, industry leading segmentations such as Mosaic, and lifestyle and behavioural insights. Our digital operations are growing as we scale dramatically the number of demand and supply side platforms our digital audiences can be accessed across – without reliance on third-party cookies using our Consumer Sync graph. The Ad Operations Specialist is a new role within our organisation and will help manage and improve the use of our digital advertising audiences for our clients and agencies. You will be important to ensure that our audiences are being utilised and distributed in a manner that ensures retention and growth of revenue across our growing client base.

This is a hybrid position reporting to the Operations & Delivery Director.

Responsibilities

  • Audience Management: Set up, monitoring, and optimising Experian audiences in digital ad campaigns across several platforms.
  • Quality & Optimisation: Ensuring successful audience definition and set up in platforms following client goals, monitoring utilisation where available to improve audience campaigns. Implementing strategies to improve campaign performance for clients through improved audience targeting.
  • Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, partners and agency teams to ensure audiences meet client campaign goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all campaigns comply with industry standards and Experian policies.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify issues related to audience delivery and performance.
  • Audience Delivery: You will hit deadlines on internal and external Service level agreements for outputs.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience managing programmatic advertising campaigns is required
  • Knowledge of ad serving technologies (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager). Some technical knowledge of DSPs & SSPs is preferable as we continue to expand our audience offering
  • Experience making data focused advertising decisions.
  • Ensuring campaign setup and reporting is detailed and accurate.
  • Addressing and resolving any issues that arise during campaigns.

  • Degree in advertising, marketing, or a related subject.
