Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Experian Software Solutions Department.
Reporting into Lead Software Engineer, you will improve development process and automation excellence through good business, product awareness and use of software quality best practices. You will be part of an Agile development team, working with several stakeholders such as Product Managers, Product Owners, Delivery and Operations Experts, to deliver a high-quality software product.
What you'll do:
- Be part of all phases of Software Development Life Cycle;
- Take part in software design discussions, software development, peer reviews;
- Write automation tests as part of development process;
- Support and extends the existing CI/CD pipelines;
- Participate in research and adoption of new technologies;
- Collaborate with other team members in implementation, code reviews, Scrum ceremonies, etc
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
- Experience in Java, Rest API, Spring Framework, Spring-MVC, Spring-Security;
- Knowledge of OOP principles, data structures, algorithms and design pattern;
- Experience with microservice architectures;
- Experience with building tools;
- Experience with Virtualization/Containerization;
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
- Knowledge of version control system – preferably Git;
- Experience with test automation frameworks;
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle;
- Excellent English language skills;
An advantage would be:
- Experience or Knowledge with some of the following technologies; Kubernetes, Docker and AWS, EKS, Jenkins, Kafka, Maven, unit testing frameworks, Prometheus/Grafana/Dynatrace; UI testing (Selenium, Cypress or similar); non-functional testing (JMeter);
- Basic knowledge of Linux/UNIX and networking;
