Job Description
Overview
We are looking for an M&A Integration Project Manager to lead the seamless integration of acquired companies into our organization. You will play an important part in shaping our future by ensuring a smooth transition and delivering maximum value. You will bring expertise in project management and deep experience navigating the complexities of M&A transactions. You will report into the Head of North America M&A Integration.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the acquiring department and M&A Integration team to transform comprehensive templates into tailored, investment-specific project plans with clear critical paths and timelines that accelerate integration success.
- Lead integration efforts to ensure seamless understanding of goals, delivering high-quality results within or ahead of deadlines.
- Lead "week one" communications and collaboration and implement an hour-by-hour communications strategy with all partners.
- Identify and escalate roadblocks, mobilizing partners for swift resolution to maintain momentum.
- Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and progress, ensuring continuous improvement that prioritizes acquired business advocacy.
- Be a bridge between the M&A Integration team and the acquired business to ensure seamless collaboration
- Strengthen internal networks to mobilize support M&A integration activities.
- Uphold regulatory obligations, ensuring implementation of company policies
- Design governance frameworks that control the integration and mitigate risk.
- Prepare executive-level updates, providing clear insights to guide informed decision-making.
- Champion creation and management of critical artifacts, ensuring verification for Global Internal Audit.
- Lead retrospectives to identify opportunities for enhancing M&A Integration practices
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- 5+ years of experience in project management, including 2–3 years leading M&A integrations with measurable success.
- Experience leading complex projects
- Understanding of operations and their interdependencies during M&A activities.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar) to improve workflows and enhance collaboration.
- Ability to travel to support integration activities and engage partners
