Job Description

We would love you to join us at Experian in helping us to shape the future of employer services for Human Resources compliance and outsourcing. We are looking for an Unemployment Claims Analyst to partner with our clients in managing the unemployment claims process and guide communication between the employer and the state agencies. You will report to the Senior Regional Manager of Client Delivery and work remotely.

What you'll do:

  • You will coordinate with clients to gather all relevant information necessary to respond to unemployment claims and wage audits
  • You will file appeals to determinations with state agencies to request hearings be scheduled
  • You will prepare and submit comprehensive responses to the state request for information that provides the best chance of a successful outcome
  • You will field, assess, and respond to requests for additional information from state agencies
  • You will develop partnerships with client contacts and use those relationships to coach on what additional steps or processes to have more successful outcomes
  • You will analyze unfavorable determinations and advise clients on likelihood of success on appeal
  • You will prioritize tasks and make sure to complete any pending items in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Experience in unemployment claims or unemployment processes
  • Experience prioritizing multiple work tasks
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners
  • Experience voicing feedback on current processes and problems, as well as, coming up with solutions for any identified issues
