Job Description
You are you a Facilities Manager with experience with operational excellence and team leadership? Experian is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to oversee our Allen campus facilities. This is a full time onsite role, reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, where you'll lead a team, manage vendor relationships, and ensure our facilities run smoothly, securely, and sustainably.
As our Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Lead and develop a team of supervisors and staff, including staffing, coaching, performance management, and salary planning.
- Manage departmental financial and operational goals, including budgeting and strategic planning.
- Oversee contracts and vendor relationships for services such as security, landscaping, cafeteria, and fitness center.
- Ensuring the security system is fully functional and compliant, including hiring and managing contract security officers.
- Coordinate special events (e.g., blood drives, food/toy drives) and supporting our teams with facility needs.
- Monitor and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and records.
- Manage facility drawings and charts using software tools.
- Utilize automated energy management systems to optimize utility usage.
- Review and approve invoices and requisitions related to facilities operations.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field or relevant years of experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Facility Management, with 5+ years of building services knowledge.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance methods, architectural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings.
- Experience managing budgets and operational planning.
