Job Description

Summary

You will collaborate with Finance teams across all North American businesses, supporting both department-specific analyses and region-wide projects aimed at enhancing planning and reporting dashboards. As an important partner in a growing team, you will gain valuable experience and access to further growth opportunities. You will report directly to the FP&A Revenue Supervisor and work directly with an Operating Unit (FSD) of Experian's business. This is an individual contributor role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in compliance with accounting standards and company policies, including analysis of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, contracts, validation of deliverables, and coordination with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues. Update, implement, and review contract tie-outs, enforce controls, and support internal/external audits.
  • Month-End Close and Reporting Support: Analyze revenue trends and drivers to support the monthly financial and metric reporting package (Month-End Close and Forecast), prepare Journal Entries, management reports, and provide forecast inputs, which will be presented to senior management. Participate in calls with departments and partners. Special projects and financial modelling, as assigned.
  • Collaboration: Weekly, monthly revenue forecast and annual budget, partnering with business and corporate FP&A functions.
  • Be a subject matter expert: Oversee critical processes (C1 Templates, Disclosures), develop understanding of revenue data flows.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in revenue analysis and reporting processes, promote process improvements, and standardize financial reporting and analysis models.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced English level, written and verbal communication (C1 level preferred).
  • Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, exposure to Revenue Recognition processes, including month-end close, forecasting, financial reporting, modeling, general ledger, and budget management.
  • Financial Analysis with the ability to interpret large datasets, ensure data accuracy, and extract important insights.
  • Technical Competence: Advanced understanding of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15, and knowledge of revenue calculation processes.
  • Communication: Experienced in presenting analytical findings to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, with focus on customer service and responsiveness.
  • Tools and Systems: Advanced Excel experience with financial systems such as Oracle, OBIEE, Tableau, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, and SmartView.
