Job Description

The Commercial Management team provides commercial management services to the UK B2B business in order to help reach its financial targets with an acceptable level of commercial and contractual risk.

The Senior Commercial Contract Analyst will report to the Senior Commercial Manager.

What you'll do?

  • Ensure all commercial sales transactions comply with Experian's global contract policy, maximize revenue opportunities, and minimize risk.
  • Work with Sales and support teams to understand client requirements and reflect them in contracts.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, schedules, variation agreements, NDAs, and DPAs, working with the Legal team.
  • Provide expert guidance on commercial and contractual matters to Sales, Account Managers, and other teams including Product, Technical, and Delivery.
  • Escalate non-standard terms for approval and maintain accurate contract records in Salesforce.
  • Promote compliance with commercial processes, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to automation and systemization projects.
  • Deliver training to employees on contracting practices and commercial processes to build organizational capability.
  • Support interim commercial cover requests, draft Letters of Intent, and participate in projects as needed by the Senior Commercial Manager.
  • Share knowledge and help develop commercial expertise across business units and verticals.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in Commercial/contract management role.
  • Legal degree qualification, or solid experience in commercial environment.
  • An academic record and work experience that demonstrates an ability to learn, quickly orientate and understand concepts, interpret information.
  • Draft and manage contract obligations concerning software licensing, software development and the provision of data.
  • Work with contractual and operational change processes
  • Knowledge of software delivery and managed IT services
  • Experience with legal terms and conditions.
  • Change oriented.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify gaps/risks in existing processes.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
