As a Sales Manager you will evaluate sales opportunities in multiple domains like BFSI, Telecom etc. Your exposure to Solution Sales/ Consulting environment or financial services will differentiate you from the rest.
You will sit within our Consumer services business, one of our four Global Business Lines. We create credit reports by collecting and analysing credit histories – sorting through data about the credit people applied for, whether their applications were successful, and how they paid the credit back. We share this information with businesses so they can calculate a credit decision, usually using a credit score. This score predicts how likely people are to pay back what they owe. This combination of data, scores and software allow businesses to make accurate, fair and quick credit decisions.
What you’ll do (Job responsibilities for this role)
1. Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and target prospective Banks, NBFCs, Insurance companies, neobanks, payment companies, and other financial technology businesses.
- Increase sales of Experian's products and services, such as Bureau Solutions, credit risk solutions, fraud prevention tools, analytics platforms, and decisioning systems.
- Develop a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand our client base within the FinTech segment.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build long-term relationships with important decision-makers at client organizations.
- Be a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to address challenges related to risk management, regulatory compliance, and customer acquisition.
3. Solution Selling:
- Present Experian’s offerings in a compelling manner, showcasing how they address specific client challenges.
- Customise proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies to align with client goals
- Partner with our teams (example- product, analytics, and implementation) to ensure delivery of solutions.
4. Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Monitor trends and developments in the BFSI industry to identify opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the product development team on market demands and latest technologies.
- Represent Experian at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
5. Reporting & Performance Management:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in the CRM system
- Track and report on main performance metrics, including revenue growth, client acquisition, and customer satisfaction
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales processes.

- Masters of Business Administration
- You have about 5+ years of experience of in the solution sales / consulting environment or a financial services environment Experience with the BFSI industry, including Banks, NBFCs, Insurance companies and related domains. Experience with B2B sales in financial services, technology, or related industries. Ability to engage with senior partners. Demonstrated expertise in solution-based selling and account management. Ability to interpret data and drive insights for decision-making. Strong negotiation skills.
