Job Description
The Principal GenAI Product Manager EMAP will shape and implement Experian EMAP's AI‑enhanced product strategy across the Ascend and Fraud portfolios.
This is a specialist role in the EMAP Product Management team, reporting into the EMAP Senior Leadership. You will focus on promoting Generative AI capabilities into products, reimagining customer propositions, accelerating innovation, and driving adoption across diverse EMAP markets.
Operating horizontally across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Client Delivery, and Market Product teams, you will be a bridge between global GenAI strategy, regional priorities, and market execution.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the regional GenAI product strategy for EMAP across Ascend and Fraud.
- Identify where Generative AI can materially improve customer outcomes, product differentiation, and operational efficiency.
- Translate new GenAI capabilities into clear product intent, priorities, and roadmaps.
- Lead discovery of high‑impact GenAI opportunities across customer journeys and internal product workflows.
- Define use cases with clear value hypotheses, success measures, and risk considerations.
- Guide productisation of GenAI capabilities, moving from concept and proof points into scalable, production‑ready features embedded in the products.
- Work with markets and regional functions to increase GenAI use cases across EMAP, with primary focus on customer‑facing innovation and considering productivity enablement where it supports product outcomes
- Track outcomes including adoption, productivity gains, customer impact, and product differentiation.
- Partner with Engineering and Data Science to embed GenAI capabilities into existing Ascend and Fraud products, rather than standalone tools.
- Be a senior product partner across Engineering, Architecture, Data Science, Client Delivery, Market Product, and regional GTM teams.
- Collaborate with GTM to shape AI‑driven value propositions, pricing inputs, and adoption models, ensuring clear and responsible client messaging.
- Influence prioritisation and solution design through product judgement, evidence‑based trade‑offs, and clear articulation of customer and commercial value.
- Work with AI technology teams to ensure GenAI governance, controls, and guardrails are embedded into product delivery.
- Ensure GenAI product capabilities align with: Product development and risk frameworks; Legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements across EMAP; Responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, traceability)
- Co‑create GenAI capabilities with selected clients to validate value, usability, and adoption.
- Partner with global technology and AI platform teams to use external GenAI providers following Experian standards and governance.
- Be an internal GenAI product ambassador for EMAP.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Manager / Principal PM in complex software, platform, or data‑driven environments.
- Ground in product discovery, productisation, and outcome‑based prioritisation.
- Experience with Generative AI concepts, patterns, and limitations.
- Knowledge how to translate AI capabilities into practical, customer‑ready product features.
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Experience operating in regulated or high‑trust environments.
