The role is focused on retention, growth and long‑term value creation, while also acting as the connector between customers and Experian’s multiple business units to originate and deliver new opportunities.

This role requires someone comfortable operating in complex public sector environments, navigating buying frameworks, and coordinating stakeholders across Experian to deliver joined‑up solutions.

  • Develop and execute account plans focused on incremental growth, including upsell and cross‑sell opportunities. Proactively identify expansion opportunities aligned to customer objectives, regulatory pressures and policy change.

Cross‑Business Unit Collaboration

  • Work closely with Experian business units (e.g. data, analytics, decisioning, platform and fraud services) to shape integrated propositions for public sector customers.
  • Bring together specialists, pre‑sales and product teams to design solutions that address customer needs.
  • Act as the “quarterback” across Experian, ensuring the right capabilities are engaged at the right time to generate new business.

Public Sector Commercial & Framework Management

  • Navigate public sector procurement routes, including relevant buying frameworks (e.g. G‑Cloud and other compliant routes to market).
  • Support customers through compliant purchasing processes, ensuring clarity on scope, commercials and delivery models.
  • Work with internal commercial, legal and finance teams to manage contracts, renewals, variations and extensions.

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Deliver against revenue, retention and growth targets for your account portfolio.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and reporting through CRM.
  • Ensure activity aligns with Experian governance, compliance and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an account management or customer‑facing sales role, selling into the public sector or regulated environments.
  • Strong track record of retaining and growing existing accounts, selling data, software or platform solutions.
  • Experience coordinating multiple internal teams to deliver customer outcomes.
  • Understanding of public sector procurement and buying frameworks, or demonstrable ability to learn and navigate them quickly.
  • Any experience of selling identify and fraud solutions is beneficial.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
  • A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively across Experian to meet the needs of the customer.
