The Opportunity
At Goodberry’s, our Assistant Managers play a key role in leading day-to-day operations, supporting the General Manager, and ensuring each shift runs the way it should. This is a hands-on leadership role where you are responsible for execution, team performance, and maintaining the standards that define our brand.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, holds high standards, and takes pride in running a strong shift. Just as important, you are a clear and effective communicator, able to give direction, provide feedback, and connect naturally with both your team and guests. This role tends to fit people who are detail-oriented, follow through consistently, and want to grow into a larger leadership role over time.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Lead the Shift
  • Run assigned shifts and ensure smooth, consistent execution
  • Delegate tasks, manage flow, and adjust in real time
  • Take responsibility for performance during your shift
Maintain Operational Standards
  • Enforce product quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly
  • Execute promotions and company initiatives accurately and on time
Support the Business
  • Help manage labor, scheduling, and cost control during shifts
  • Execute plans tied to weekly KPIs and operational goals
  • Support inventory, prep, and overall readiness
Develop the Team
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of team members
  • Coach employees and reinforce performance expectations
  • Help develop shift leaders and future managers
Deliver a Great Guest Experience
  • Lead by example in hospitality and service execution
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with both guests and team members
  • Resolve issues quickly and ensure follow-through

This is not an office-based role. The most effective Assistant Managers are present on the floor, leading shifts, coaching the team, and solving problems in real time.

Schedule and Work Expectations
  • Full-time leadership role, 45 hours per week
  • Mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts
  • Presence during peak business periods is expected
  • Schedule is driven by business needs
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary: $45,000 to $55,000, based on experience and performance
  • Quarterly Bonus: Up to 10% of quarterly salary based on results and execution
