As the Vice President of Revenue Operations (Rev Ops) you are in a strategic and highly influential role responsible for driving efficient revenue growth and optimizing the effectiveness of our revenue-generating teams. You are responsible for overseeing the processes, systems, and tools that support our go-to-market (GTM) teams. You will apply your deep experience, knowledge, and understanding of B2B sales and technical audiences to enable the Sales organization and Partners to sell effectively, continually improving sales productivity. In addition you will be expected to represent and evangelize LeanData.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Leadership
Hire, build, mentor and lead a high-performing Revenue Operations team within our GTM organization including Sales Operations, Marketing Operations and Customer Operations and Enablement.
Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue operations strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
Lead the annual and quarterly revenue planning process, including setting targets, forecasting, and budgeting.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Client Success, Finance, and Product teams to ensure alignment and coordination of revenue initiatives.
Ensure the alignment of sales, marketing, and customer success teams to maximize customer lifecycle value.
Proactively monitor and report on revenue performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Revenue Enablement
Implement systems and processes to support pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Provides analysis, decision support, sales comp planning and oversight, and deal forecasting for the LeanData Sales Team.
Partner with the CSO and other executive team members to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Drive sales enablement to streamline training and tools for revenue teams.
Optimize the customer journey from handoff to retention and expansion.
Data and Analytics
Establish and maintain a comprehensive data infrastructure to provide insights into revenue performance and trends.
Develop and manage dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support data-driven decision-making.
Drive optimization of revenue-related technologies (e.g., CRM).
Ensure seamless integration and utilization of systems to support revenue operations and provide a single source of truth.
Establish consistent reporting systems to provide transparency and actionable insights across the organization.
Technology and Tools
Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of CRM, marketing automation, and other revenue tools.
Drive adoption of technologies that enhance productivity and improve customer experiences.
Drive innovation through new tools and technology.
Evangelize the LeanData solution and provide feedback and suggestions to the product as LeanData’s most important customer.
What You’ll Bring:
15+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related leadership role within a high-growth software or SaaS company.
Proven track record of scaling revenue operations in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Deep understanding of SaaS business models, including recurring revenue metrics and lifecycle strategies.
Sales Strategy & Planning experience, including TAM assessment, segmentation, sales capacity modeling, territory design, and quota setting
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
Expertise in CRM, marketing automation, sales acceleration and revenue management tools (e.g., Salesforce, LeanData, HubSpot, Outreach, Clari, Nooks, UserGems).
Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
Experience managing large cross-functional teams and driving organizational alignment.
Outstanding communication and critical thinking skills to understand sales/marketing policies and processes at a company and individual sales rep level.
Track record of building world-class, high-performing, engaged and motivated teams.
