Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Learned Hand, you will navigate the entire arc of product development. Your role will be dynamic, multi-faceted, and profoundly impactful. Working hand-in-hand with the CEO, you'll dive headfirst into the unknown, turning abstract challenges into tangible solutions that rejuvenate the judiciary.

• Exploring: Venture into uncharted territories, transforming white space into opportunities. Engage deeply with judges and law clerks to understand their most pressing challenges.
• Crystallizing: Synthesize product ideas from the chaos, distilling complex insights into clear and actionable plans. Develop prototypes that serve as the foundation for our groundbreaking AI solutions.
• Building: Manage the entire build process, coordinating efforts to bring the prototypes to life. Oversee the end-to-end development, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Iterating: Continuously refine and enhance your solutions. Identify areas where the product doesn't work as intended, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Repeating: Embrace the cyclical nature of innovation. Use feedback loops to iterate and improve upon each cycle, making each version of our AI better and more aligned with our mission.

You Need These Qualifications

You have 4+ years of experience building software, with significant tenure in a startup environment, demonstrating your ability to thrive in dynamic and fast-paced settings.
